Wait a second. Do I see another sauna?

This one is bigger than the previous one. And as you can see there are also people enjoying the sun here.

This sauna belongs to the original villa I mentioned in the previous post. According to my Googling, the premises include the villa, the sauna, a storage building and a play house.

And here we have the villa. Its original building date is unknown. In the 19th century it was a fishing hut and was rented to a literature professor for 50 years. In 1921 the professor’s grandson bought the whole island. Apparently the hut was then enlarged to its current shape.

My guess is that this building is the storage building.

I base my guess on the facts that it was long, narrow, fairly low and had very little windows.

I didn’t quite fit in from here.

The villa seen from the storage building. The building’s shape was fairly strange, which would indicate, that it had been built in several phases.

The villa seen from the front. The porch really doesn’t fit the big picture.

This leaves this little building to being the playhouse. In my childhood they were no longer this big.

The playhouse and the main villa. And some people enjoying the beautiful spring weather.
You already know the story. The buildings are protected, the city owns them and no use has been found for them. Some renovations have been done more than 10 years ago, but not much else is happening.
