Swiping My Way In Part V

The contrast to the last photo in the previous post is pretty large. There the class was ready for the lection. Here all pupils have left and taken their chairs and desks with them, only the teacher is ready.

Another music classroom. Or judging by the equipment, the band classroom. Back in my primary school years we had one classroom for music and one for band activities. Maybe this school had, too.

Somehow these things don’t match. This seems like a combination of a geography classroom and a band classroom. Or maybe the instruments were just stored here.

And here we have the former computer studio.

Nobody is as wise as Tööni, the poster says.

Another classroom waiting for pupils. This one might have had something to do with physics or chemistry judging by the thing on the wall and the extensive ventilation.

The second floor corridor as seen from one end. The glass doors at the other end lead to the newest school building, which is the only one still in use and where all the secondary school pupils study.

Matriculation examination exam papers of some language neatly mapped.

This is probably the classroom of foreign languages, as there are maps in Spanish, Russian and French on the wall.

This actually just confirms my previous guess.

Another study, probably the one of a higher ranking school staff member. Again the reason for my guess is the size of the table and the most comfortable chair seen in this part of the building.

The corridor leading from the 1960’s school to the 1970’s school. Notice how the doors have been blocked from the other side. This part is strictly off bounds for the pupils.

A detail of the floor. These tiles were probably installed in the 2002 renovations. The builders haven’t done a very good job, as can be seen by the irregular seam.

The student union kiosk back on the ground floor.

Something, which looks like the student union common room.

There is good feeling, the writing says. It seems as if the students were freezing during winters, as there is an external radiator here. It has been unplugged.

Somebody is looking for a thief, who stole their Easter egg.

A corner of the lower floor with lockers and stored stuff.

And next up: a staircase, which leads upstairs to a very special class.

Which will of course be covered in the next post. Oh, do I love cliffhangers.
