In the last photo of the previous post we saw the side staircase. For some reason the following picture comes after it.

Holiday ads made by cutting from newspapers. My personal favorite is the hotel-restaurant Mamma Mia. Back in my secondary school days we had a stupid inside joke called Pizzeria Magnifico. I did the manuscripts, I was the only one, who laughed.

And suddenly the main staircase. My only guess is that the side staircase was so steep, that I decided to take a detour to save my bad knees.

Because the next photo is from the top of the staircase. The door seen in the middle of the picture leads to the teachers’ study. The stairs have indeed been so steep, that a turn has been made in them to ease things up a bit.

Top floor and another study. As this one was higher up than the teachers’ study, I suspect that this one has been for the headmaster.

Swedish lessons, comics and my absolute childhood favorite: Sune’s Sommar. It’s a film about a kid called Sune, who is supposed to go to Greece for the summer holidays, but his little brother wrecks the travel agent’s and they can’t afford to fly there anymore. They go camping instead, and the family’s hapless father wreaks so much havoc, that it actually would have been cheaper for them to travel to Greece.
And a funny remark about dialect. ‘Vi ses’ in Swedish means ‘see you’. But in my area we say ‘vi syns’, which translates directly into ‘we are visible’.

The third floor corridor was a chaos.

This is surprising. Haven’t seen one in my schools.

Otherwise it was just an ordinary classroom.

Somewhat strange that there are such strong religious items and a whole wall dedicated on the characteristics of different astrological signs. The latter is in Swedish. Well, that’s a way to learn the language.

It’s no wonder the room was empty. There was so much stuff on the corridor.

A comic about Little Willy.

There’s still soap in the dispenser, but it was leaking. Looks disgusting.

The storage of the handcrafts class.

The class itself was a colorful mess.

The main staircase leads all the way to the attic. Back in my school days this was out of bounds, but we really didn’t have such drastic measures to prevent it. A metallic door.

Somewhere a glass is broken. It’s been cleaned up, however.

In addition to the metallic door, metallic chains were used to prevent access and climbing. They really didn’t want people to go here.

The only thing there was to see here was a locked door. Not very interesting.
This was the last photo from the 1950’s school. We’ll next move on to the 1960’s school.
