Cut Short By Bankrupcy Part II

So we are back in the production area again. The machinery used in sawing the logs was still in place.

This is the part of the building made out of concrete seen through the break room windows.

It turned out to be some kind of a storage. Now that on the floor is most likely oil.

And there is most likely the culprit.

A main view from the production area showing the length of the hall.

The machinery comes from Eskilstuna, Sweden. An interesting fact is, that this company became Volvo BM in 1972, and started manufacturing Volvo tractors and other equipment. This means that either the building was older than I predicted or the equipment was bought used.

A window to a small room, which housed other sawing equipment.

Again the primitiveness of the building is evident in this picture. It is basically just a shed with wooden walls and a metal roof, no insulation and stuff.

A look outside from the room behind the door in the previous picture. The longer building is the part through which I entered. The smaller one just below the windows is the break room.

The rear end of the building. This is presumably where the logs entered the process.

For one reason or another, the wall was open in this part of the building.

More machinery, which again doesn’t look too modern.

The vandals have found this panel.

A look back upstairs. The levels inside the building were fairly strange.

More machinery and buttons. These seem a bit more modern than the ones seen previously.

One more post to go from here.
