For more than 10 years I’ve had the tradition of visiting the city I was born in during Easter. I no longer have relatives there, but I have a godson, whose father also is interested in abandoned buildings. He even photographed one for me, when its demolition started.
I usually arrive on Thursday and leave on Saturday. I spend most of the time playing Play Station with my godson. We also go to have a bath in the sauna, first with my godson and his little brother, and then with the father to discuss adult things.
On Friday I and the father take a few hours off to check out some locations in the area. This was the first one.

The first location was a wooden house in an area formerly inhabited by workers of nearby factories. A lot of new houses had been built in the 1970’s and 1980’s, but there were also a lot of old wooden ones left. Several of them seemed abandoned and in a fairly bad condition. This one was one of them.

The main entrance was sealed, but the side wing looked like there was another entrance.

No further doors here.

There indeed was a second door. But it was also locked.

This place kept its secrets from me. For now.
