The front of the reception. This is where the tourists came for decades.

The restaurant. And it seems like some renovations indeed had started here.

The kitchen. There are several things stored here, which shouldn’t be here.

It was a surprisingly dark place.

The main entrance. And another mirror selfie. I am notorius for wearing short shorts, but my legs are in great shape, so I think they suit me.

The bar and restaurant.

It wasn’t very large, though, considering that there had been 140 cabins.

Brochures for visitors.

And brochures for builders.

A gin tonic please!

I guess no dinner is served today.

An interesting wall arrangement.

It looks like some renovations have started but they have been interrupted. A familiar story.

It’s been a while since bars had ash trays. Smoking in them was forbidden in 2007.

An ice cream freezer is present even in this location.

Another messy back room.

It seems, that a lot of instant coffee was consumed here.

This back room again looks like somebody lived here.

There was a basement, which didn’t look very inviting, and so I didn’t go. Apparently there was a nightclub there, so maybe I should have gone anyway.

The area was fairly beautiful. But I don’t think that this holiday village will ever rise from these ashes.
