Even the wooden wing of the building had a central corridor.

Despite having found another kitchen earlier in the building, this one looks like the main one.

And if this is the kitchen, obviously the dining room is next door.

Or then a storage.

An interesting wallpaper here.

A look back towards the kitchen.

And a room with more cupboards.

Well, this perhaps is the dining room. A fun fact is, that the floor looks pretty similar to the one we had in one of my childhood homes. That would make me guess, that it is from the early 1990’s.

Boards really were a thing here.

This looks like another utility room.

The corridor seen from the other direction. This area of the building was quickly explored.

Back in the main stairway. The stairs make the window layout look funny, although it is identical.

The plastic tree has become redundant.

It looks like there were a total of three attics. None were accessible, though.

Back outside with a closer view of the brick section of the building.

And a view of the wooden section.

There was a playground next to the building. Until now I thought, that this had just been another mental asylum building, but the following photo, which I snapped by accident, solves the mystery.

I googled this name, and found out, that it was actually a child caring institution. The stories shared of it on the internet aren’t very beautiful.
The building has since vanished from maps. I guess that they moved on after demolishing the hospital. This really was a well timed visit, it seems.
