Another random roadside find, which looks like a former village store in a very bad condition.
Well, very bad was pretty much of an understatement. It looks like the frame of the building has collapsed near the door. The facade is so twisted, that the window has fallen off the frame. Surely this building can’t have been in use in ages?
Well, wrong again. My former colleague told me, that the building was called the ‘Ikea of Veikkola’, where an old man sold used furniture until not very long ago. In fact the municipality had forbidden the use of the building due to its bad condition and probable structural weakness only in January 2022. Keep in mind, that the photos are from May 2022.
Eventually the municipality decided to demolish the building. It was gone by the end of the year.
