Winter Is Coming Part XIII

First views from inside the administration building show classy old furniture and files.

The building had been extended at some point. I believe this to be from the extension. Don’t ask me why.

I believe the same thing about the break room.

The reason to my beliefs is, that the main central corridor of the narrow administration building actually starts only now.

In here the office rooms were rather large meaning, that more important directors were placed here. The bookshelf contained professional literature and some old files.

Most of the empty files were stored in one corner of this office room. They had taken care of data protection and removed everything inside them.

The vault contained the archive of the institution.

The archive was empty. I guess, that all the files stored next door were from here.

A large office room with room for at least two people in the front corner of the administration building. The outer wall of the canteen building can be seen behind the window.

A drawing on the wall of the archive: “Good morning! I hope everybody had a nice weekend”, the guy inside says.

Time to move back the administration corridor towards the glass walled corridor connecting this wing to the next one.

Old fashioned door phones.

Another office room, this time much smaller than the previous ones and filled with litter.

A closer look at the roof of the building. There was a sunroof, but it was well hidden and obstructed by the ceiling, which probably contained all the technical systems of the building. A prime example of brutalist architecture, I think.

And another office room with old books on the table.

Another large office room with room for at least two staff members facing the clinic wing.

And again a smaller one with a mess on the floor. This section of the complex was following a strict pattern.

I’ll explore the rest of the administration wing in the following post.
