So I start working my way around the back of the slaughterhouse to the courtyard. Behind the complex was a small wooden building. It was inaccessible, collapsing and didn’t look very interesting to me.
The rear of the building. The owner really hadn’t cared about gardening. As this 11 year old photo shows, absolutely nothing has been done to prevent the forest from growing.

This is the courtyard in 2021. Here it is in 2010.
The lower wing, which I’ve already visited. Behind the small windows behind the trees is the room with all the fodder bags. Behind the square shaped windows is the room with the white walls, cupboards and fridges.
If I’m not mistaken (usually I’m not), that is the door photographed in one of the earlier posts with the pile of wooden pallets in front of it.
A wider shot shows, that a forest has grown between the tower and the rest of the house.
When I first came here in 2009, the doors were still in their place with even most of the windows intact. Now they are in pieces.

The power station. In 2010 the doors were locked. It is starting to look like this place is ready to reveal completely new secrets to me this time around.
Even the chimney is still standing (almost) straight.
In 2009-10 the floor of the hall was so full of paper, that it was almost impossible to open the doors. I wonder, where most of it has gone.
