A Weekend Date Part XI

The upstairs windows hadn’t been covered. Instead the blinds had just been shut.

The beautiful old oven has survived the decades.

I’ll say this at least for a third time: this would make a lovely apartment.

That looks like a very old wooden slalom ski.

They left their cleaning equipment.

I think it indeed was an old slalom ski. Its pair is here.

The ceiling is handmade.

A bedroom once again with awful plastic flooring and plenty of cupboard space. The mobile phone air mattress is something I really would have loved as a child growing up during the Finnish Nokia hype.

Here the cleaning has been less thorough.

An interesting homemade decoration.

Even some furniture left here.

The upstairs corridor.

A corridor to a corridor.

An interesting metal construction.

And a rather dirty kitchen.

Or actually extremely messy, should I say.

Nuts, tobacco, cigarettes and an economic newspaper.

The programme of a dance show by the local community college.

There was a second set of stairs at the back of the building.
