Toys For Sale Part I

It was getting late and I was looking for a place to park my car and go to sleep. I didn’t find one. Instead I found this.

The building is most definitely an old village school. Apparently it was closed in the late 1990’s. Back in 1997-1998 it still had 22 pupils.

The place looked abandoned. But it also looked very intact.

There were other buildings on the lot, too. That one has hosted a privy during a time when there was no toilet in the school.

It’s not visible in the picture. But the glass on the door was broken just next to the lock. How convinient.

And here we are, in the lobby. But the interior doesn’t look like a school. It looks more like a flea market.

The wing seen behind the windows has previously contained teacher apartments.

Old magazines. The publishing dates are not visible in the picture, sadly.

The flea market vibes are just getting stronger.

This definitely is a former classroom, though.

Some vandals have found their way in. Or then the sink autodestroyed itself.

A classroom and an emergency exit.

The flea market vibes continued in the second classroom.

But this room was emptier.

The front of the classroom.

The paintings look like they’ve been made by pupils of the school.

There was even a small kitchen.

It was surprisingly modern. And in a very good condition.

A lot of prizes and a standard by an association of entrepreneurs.

The stove is actually surprisingly modern. Perhaps the school has seen some use after the education days.
