Next: the back room. I have a belief, that this was originally the apartment of the shop owner, but when the new residential wing was built, this area found other use.

A bulletin about the phone numbers of the municipality changing – in 1993.

Lovely vintage cupboards.

The price tags could be found even here. There seems to have been a final sale.

Despite being small, the store belonged to a national chain.

The top of a canned vegetable bucket, best before in August 1996. I would be surprised, if this wasn’t yet another can of pickled cucumber, which is a surprisingly common find in abandoned places.

The local newspaper from July 1996. Two items from around the same time might hint, that the entrepreneur left for summer holidays and called it quits.

What more is there to say.

The residential wing was behind this former window.

A random chaos.

One more look back, and then it’s time to leave.

The old sign of the shoe and flower shop.

And a closer look at the paintings on the windows.

I still think this is a lovely idea.

The store clerk doesn’t look happy at all.

One more external photo before leaving for new adventures. Like I said, this was entry number 99 for me. I can spoil that much, that number 100 was one hell of a catch.
In 1996, I was a sophomore in high school. Where did the time go? Seriously. 🙁
I have no idea. I just started this blog. Now it’s been four years.
